HD-10-R50 1 micron water filters

I have a Ametek HD-10-R50 filter system. I need to know what are my choices in filters. Can you provide the item numbers and descriptions and the micron size for the ones available? Thanks.

You have a filter that’s approx. 10″ height, and 4 1/2″ width. Is this Correct?

If yes, you need a 10″ ‘BB’ Big Blue filter.

The one you currently use, or mentioned, is a sediment filter, 50 micron, to remove large particles from water.


There are Carbon filters, where the rating can be as low as 1/2 micron size. Those are used for drinking water filtration.

To determine which filter best meets your needs, please provide more specific information on what you primarily goal is.

I need a 1 or 1/2 micron one. Can you please tell me the model/part numbers.

Ok. Here we go. You would need a 4-1/2” x 20” sediment filter with a low micron rating
